...and I bought a TT and have never regretted it. All the car components are basically the same except the turbos obviously...which may or may not crap out at around 100K miles. My TT has 110K miles and is still on stockers and runs / drives great. With conscientious maintenance and a lack of idiocy you should really have no more issues with a turbo than a non-turbo. There's plenty of people with 100K miles on stock turbos around here that are still going strong. That being said...make sure you can afford a couple of thousand when the time comes for replacement. (or more likely...upgrade) You won't regret the boost if you can afford it.
